Mission:  NY Camp Econometrics exists to cultivate a vibrant, collaborative community of scholars dedicated to advancing econometric research. Through open dialogue, rigorous inquiry, and meaningful mentorship, the Camp strengthens connections across institutions and supports the next generation of econometricians. Its goals include creating a welcoming environment where economists and econometricians can present new work and exchange innovative ideas; fostering cross‑institutional and cross‑field dialogue that enriches the broader econometrics community in New York and beyond; and supporting early‑career scholars by offering opportunities to present research and engage in mentorship and professional development. The Camp also aims to highlight advances in econometric theory and methods by showcasing cutting‑edge theoretical and applied contributions, while building lasting academic and professional relationships that encourage ongoing collaboration and community building long after each gathering concludes.
